I agree with the Article in the J C Press about Daniel Norris this past week. Daniel is a great young man with much to look forward to. But does this type of press do him and the football team justice? A few of the comments quoted in this article was a slap in the face of those young men who have spent the summer working their butts off for their team. Coaches need to stop planting the hopes and dreams of Science Hill Football on the shoulders of 15 year old young man who has spent barley ...

Well, I have to admit that I was very skeptical about this rugby program. All that I had ever seen was this rough and tumble game that I didn't want my kid involved with. But what they are doing with the kids in Youth Rugby here is not the same. They are playing a "tag" game this year that will use flags instead next year. My fears were for nothing and the kids are really having a good time. I would encourage more kids to get involved because it is good exercise (not too demanding) ...

I was at the first day of Spring Practice and thought it went great. Does anyone want to talk about it? We seem to have a lot of kids out. I can't wait for A-E to come to town on Saturday so we can send them back to Knoxville crying. I hope everyone comes out to support The Hill.

First practice, Monday, May 26, ITMS, 6pm. If you haven't signed up yet, please submit the info on the pre-registration section of the ETYR website, print the application and bring to the first practice. If you cannot attend the first practice but plan to come later, please go ahead and submit the pr-registration. Thisw is a lot of fun and a way to keep the kids active. There is a lot of running and it is no rougher than a game of tag.

The JR TOPPERS will have signups on June 7th and 14th at the Legion Recreation Center from 9am - Noon. The 5-6 age group will play flag football. Something to sell or donate?

How many pair of barely used cletes or tennis shoes do you have that nobody can wear any more? The boy outgrow that new bat you bought already? The girl wanted a new glove but the old one is still really pretty good?

This is a good place to turn to help you find a new owner for those items not needed any more. Sell them for what they are worth, sell them cheaply or donate them to someone that can appreciate them . They are not doing anybody any good out in the garage or in the back ...

Everyone loses something sometime and who knows where to look for it. Well, hopefully this forum will provide a place for these situations to be resolved.

Find something - start a topic telling where you found it and a general description but keep something back that only the owner would know.

Lose something - after reviewing any post of items found, post a topic with a description of the item you lost.
